Maurice began playing bass when he was 9. He also plays guitar and drums. He has played bass in various jazz ensembles, latin, country, and hard rock bands including playing with drum aficionado Bobby Rock (Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Nelson, Lita Ford, others, and solo). Flash and speed are not trademarks of his playing style as much as taste and color. He approaches the bass as more of a rhythmic and melodic instrument as opposed to just a backbone instrument. "I have the honor of playing with someone who I consider one of the best drummers on the planet. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to play with many talented drummers throughout the years. Nothing makes me play better than a good drummer.”

CRISTIAN VAN SCHUERBECK

Cristian started playing the piano at a very early age. His father, a music collector, delivered a wide variety of music for him to listen to, especially British rock bands from the 70’s, such as Emerson Lake &Palmer, Yes and Led Zeppelin.

At age 6, he became very interested and inspired by the music of Keith Emerson. Since then, he has been exploring his music at many different levels. In 2010, Cristian met Keith at the Wembley Arena in London. He later became Keith Emerson’s grandson's (Ethan Emerson) piano teacher and a very good friend of the Emerson family.

In 2007, Cristian moved to Paris, France where he specialized in music production and composition. A couple of years later, Cristian moved to London England where he produced many artists and also established his music teaching business, giving music education to hundreds of students in the first year.
